*Required Skills* Bachelors degree in computer science or Engineering with 6+ years in Software Quality Assurance, Testing and Test Management · Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored processes, jobs, triggers and replication · Experience in performing ETL testing using interface mapping specifications · Experience in validation of BI reports · Ability to create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/case · Ability to understand and create test strategy from written specifications and/or verbal communications · Experience in Software Development Life Cycle Processes and performed Quality Control ( Test Case Design & Test Execution) activities for development projects (web-based / BI data warehouse / Database apps). · Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills · Proactive team player with a hands-on approach Hands on experience Test Management Tools (ALM) *Desired Skills* Knowledge on one or more of the following IFC business domain areas is a definite plus: Investment operations, Advisory services, Risk management, Accounting and financial reporting, Business data management, integration and reporting, document management, portfolio management, data warehousing, information management. Technologies: Java, .Net, Flex, Web Services, Database Management Systems: Oracle, Sybase, SQL server; Business Intelligence: COGNOS 8, Informatica; Operating Systems: MS Windows, AIX. *Role Description* We are looking for a candidate who has experience in testing back end applications based on Oracle, SQL Server, ETL scripts and BI Reports. The individual will be responsible for writing/reviewing test cases, data base testing, ETL and Oracle SP for loading the data and publishing test results. The core responsibilities include, but not limited to: · Review functional, design, interface mapping, report specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables · Perform Backend database testing to validate the data using complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, Oracle · Perform Integration test by running ETL jobs, validating data loads, troubleshooting job execution errors and executing test scripts · Validation of BI reports using Cognos tool · Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan in HP ALM tool · Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts including test data, data validation · Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results · Participate in, or hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members · Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management · Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements · Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes liaison with development, project management, and customer support · Publish test metrics and issues and resolution for approval on completion of testing *Please share your updated resume at *[email protected]* or feel free to contact me at **614-401-5194* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-HRMS-India" group.
