Server(IIS) Administrator *at *Collegeville, PA*



*Required Technical Skill Set:-*



·         Installation/Configuration/Administration of IIS 9.x/11.x tools
across unix platform

*Must Have:-*

Advanced expert level experience and expertise in
installation/configuration/administration of IBM IIS tools(DataStage
including designer, director and administrator,QualityStage,Information
Analyzer,FastTrack,Business Glossary,Data Architect,Discovery,BluePrint
Director,Business Glossary AnyWhere,DataStage Operations Console,Change
Data Capture for Oracle - CDC,Metadata WorkBench,Admin
Console(WebConsole),Asset manager,Connector Migration tool,Server
Manager,command line interface - istools,multi-client
manager,Standardization Rules Designer,Data Quality Console,import export
manager,ISA Lite tool &Governance dashboard)

*Good To Have:-*

·         Domain Knowledge of Life Science, Basic unix concepts, Basic
RDBMS concepts

*Responsibilities:-*

·         Providing technical/functional support and resolution to
incidents and service requests

·         Gathering of requirements from Customers

·         Integration of IIS tools with external components (IDA data
modelling tool, Clear case version control tool, relational databases,
Active directory and Cognos reporting tool).

·         Migration of InfoSphere assets from lower version to higher
version.

·         Apply fixes, patches and Service Packs to keep the InfoSphere
environment up-to-date.

·         Troubleshooting, debugging & fixing IIS tools’ specific issues.

·         Reporting on health and performance of the ETL environment and
jobs.

·         Provide recommendations & consultations on the design of
solutions for maximum efficiency and performance.

·         Provide consultation on best practices to the project teams.

·         Interact with IBM support to resolve product specific issues
through PMR channel.

·         Capacity planning of the IIS environments.

·         Working on Technical/Functional enhancements if required

·         Good Communication Skills to interact with Customers

·         Previous experience on support project and understanding of SLA

·         Ability to debug quickly and resolve issues

·         Flexibility to work in shifts

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Organized and timely
