*Job Description:*



Under limited supervision, the Information Security Analyst:

·         Assists in planning, directing, and coordinating agency
activities, specifically relative to Information Security.

·         Assists in developing and enforcing the organization’s security
policies, standards, and guidelines, security awareness, security
information portion of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans,
and all industry and government compliances issues.

·         Assists in incorporating the design, deployment, management,
control, and updating of platform and user specific security policies on a
diverse range of internal hardware platforms supporting various software
and operating systems.

·         Conducts risk management analysis to identify areas of risk and
to develop security measures to prevent losses.

·         Monitors use of data files and regulates access to safeguard
information in computer files.

·         Works with business owners, IT managers, staff, and vendors in
order to provide timely and efficient IT coordination of security services
to meet agency needs.

·         Create reports on status of agency information security programs
and projects, as required.

·         Communicates with senior executives through oral and written
reports and presentations, as required.

·         Develops and implements IT system security plans, projects and
initiatives.

·         Plans, implements, manages, and coordinates security measures and
controls for information systems to regulate access to computer data and
prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of
information.

·         Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) along with or in absence of
the Senior Agency Information Security Office representing the agency on
all issues relating to information security, as required.

·         Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by
supervisor.

*Position Summary:*

·         As the Solutions Architect for the GeorgiaGov Interactive web
platform, you will be working with a small team to translate customer
requirements to technical requirements for the state’s enterprise Drupal
platform. As part of the web product team, you will become an expert in the
functionality and offerings of the platform, and use that knowledge to
drive solutions for state customers. The solutions architect will meet with
customers to gather requirements, review web analytics, write technical
documentation, and write testing scenarios for the testing team. You may
serve as the primary or secondary point of contact for a variety of
projects to assist in customer business needs analysis, and work with
customers to find technical solutions to their needs.

·         The best candidate is someone with a passion for best practices
in technical writing, user experience and business analysis. You should
keep yourself updated with industry trends and best practices and translate
that to how we as a state can lead by example within the realm of web
solutions. You should be a team player, and enjoy working closely with
others to report, research, and explore solutions to challenges.



*Responsibilities Include:*

·         Participate in customer requirements gathering and discovery
meetings

·         Share best practices and consult with clients throughout the
duration of the project

·         Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer
requirements

·         Lead the user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts

·         Participate in training design, documentation and delivery
efforts in concert with the Training and Support Specialist

·         Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the
customer

·         Participate in internal projects as required



*Required Skills / Experience:*

·         The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track
record in customer requirements gathering and documentation. Candidate must
be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able
to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple
priorities in a fast moving environment.

·         Knowledge of web-based content management systems architecture,
background with Drupal 7 preferred.

·         Ability to collect, evaluate, and compress data and information
from multiple sources, resolve conflicts and differentiate between actual
and required user needs

·         Deliver results after thorough research of functional needs by
collaborating and communicating with customers and site users

·         Ability to understand customer business requirements and
translate them to specific requirements

·         Ability to communicate effectively in writing at a technical
level as well as non-technical level

·         Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into
solution designs

·         Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives
against business and financial constraints

*Job Description:*

·         This is a staff augmentation engagement based on the delivery of
lead functional/business analyst work necessary to create, test and
implement functional design requirements. This work includes:

·         Analyze the functionality offered in the ELM and People Tools
upgrades

·         Meet/work with functional staff to gain an understanding of
requirements and system needs

·         Develop requirements

·         Conduct a fit gap assessment and identify a strategy for
conducting the upgrade (including additional functionality to take
advantage of, continued customizations necessary to meet the state’s needs,
etc.)

·         Develop technical specifications and detailed design documents

·         Lead functional staff in recommending and documenting system
configuration changes

·         Attend advisory, steering, and other meetings (when requested) to
support/explain systemchanges

·         Develop and implement a test plan for system, performance and
user acceptance testing

·         Develop and execute test scripts, document issues, and assist
with issue resolution

·         Providing training/knowledge transfer to state staff

·         Identify key areas of user training that will be necessary once
