We have an urgent opening for the position of *Oracle Database Architect* in *RI/AZ/TX/IL**.* *Role: Oracle Database Architect* *Location : RI/AZ/TX/IL.* *Please do not share Oracle DBA profiles* *Job Description : * *Summary: * We are seeking a Oracle Database Architect to be a member of the Engineering team to build high quality user focused web applications. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise databases and the development of a best-in-class user-focused solution leveraging the latest in web development technology. You will be expected to complete your projects in the required time with minimal supervision from a senior member of the Technical team. *Strong knowledge in Oracle Architect concepts is must along with knowledge in Maria DB* *Additional qualifications include: * · Demonstrated experience of at least six years in operational support and development of complex database technologies in Oracle especially, Oracle DB (9i, 10g and/or 11g), Oracle RAC, Oracle DG and Oracle STREAMS · Hands-on experience as a DBA supporting multiple, large-sized Oracle database systems using technologies mentioned above · Experience in database administration for complex, large and mission-critical databases that run zero-outage production databases systems · Significant problem-solving and troubleshooting skills · Knowledge of operating system and/or hardware architecture, specifically SAN storage and clustering and demonstrated ability to incorporate this knowledge into technical review of application designs in Oracle databases · Knowledge of RDBMS performance tuning using advanced database monitoring, analyses and tuning methodologies · Demonstrated leadership and/or communication skills in providing technical direction · Experience in ASM / Data Guard / active active replication technologies · Knowledge and hands on experience in Golden gate replication *Qualifications and Experience: * • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology • 10+ years of demonstrated experience with data architecture and relational design especially with respect to application development • Familiarity with best business practices and software development • Completed multiple database implementation projects through all phases of development • Understand complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs • Demonstrate proficiency with physical and logical database design • Demonstrate proficiency with data replication techniques • Write effective stored procedures • Demonstrate knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures • Demonstrate knowledge of information security, including integration with major operating system environments – UNIX/ AIX and Linux • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized, focused, flexible, motivated, detail oriented, and dedicated team player • Experience working on an Agile team • Experience developing modern web apps DBA & Architecture level experience • Strong Oracle Database experience • Capacity planning, optimization of DB • Oracle 12c experience • Cloud enablement • Amazon cloud (AWS) implementation exp • Oracle Grid, Oracle ASM, Oracle Context, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle OEM • Ability to design data architecture for complex client-server information systems.
