USG direct client is looking *Sr. QA Analyst *at* Alpharetta, GA* *Job Description* The Sr. QA Analyst is responsible for performing quality assurance duties throughout the project lifecycle. To be successful in this role, one must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This role requires good communication skills with team members and business contacts as well as all levels of management. In addition, the successful Sr. QA Analyst must be able to work with minimal or no supervision on large and multiple concurrent projects and to coordinate the work of applications. *Key Responsibilities: * · Coordinate the work efforts of supporting QA's on a project · Review project documentation for all assigned projects to ensure that the project requirements are clearly defined · Analyze project requirements and develop Test Strategies and Plans · Hands on experience with web services testing using XML files, including functional User interface testing, end to end testing and regression testing. · Good understanding of Master Data Management concepts. · Discuss requirements and scheduling with project teams to ensure the timely, accurate, and effective completion of project deliverables. · Be experienced with quality assurance reporting and tracking software- ALM or TFS. · Maintain a leading edge understanding of QA as related to interactive technologies best practices and Strong communications skills to effectively communicate at different levels of management. · Document test cases to ensure that all functionality is performing as intended · Conduct test case reviews · Provide test case to requirements traceability · Plan and schedule all QA deliverables during project lifecycle · Conduct formal test case review sessions with project team and incorporate feedback · Execute test cases, document actual results, and evaluate compared to expected results · Develop SQL queries to retrieve data for validation purposes · Troubleshoot unintended results and error logs to investigate cause of unintended results · Report defects and escalate issues as needed · Regularly report overall project status, including test case execution statistics, defect status, milestone achievement, and satisfaction of quality metrics · Knowledgeable in various SDLC methodologies including waterfall, agile, and iterative approaches · Perform early morning or late night validation when new releases are being deployed into production · Ability to work independently and work with onsite and offshore team. · Meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills · Executing black and white box tests on web-based products. · Experience on backend testing on any relation database, specifically SQL Server (SQL - PL/SQL). · Should be good at writing SQL scripts when needed. *Qualifications:* · 5 + years' QA experience focusing on software verification and back-end data validation · 5 + years' experience testing web based applications · 5 + years' experience building SQL queries against a relational database · Experience developing and executing test cases against business intelligence requirements · Experience with a defect tracking tools · Experience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint Excel, Project, and Visio) · Experience with test automation tools · Strong knowledge of various QA methodologies Experience with requirements traceability *Please share your updated resume at **akansh...@usgrpinc.com* <akansh...@usgrpinc.com>* or feel free to contact me at **614-401-5194* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-HRMS-India" group.
