Belinda,

It's not clear from your e-mail if you are using OCI or thin drivers.

Based on the fact that you are concerned with the DLL's not being found I
would assume you are talking about OCI drivers.

If that is the case, just make sure that PATH is set correctly in
autoexec.bat.

If you keep on getting Too many parameters, then make sure that there are
no spaces anywhere in the path (e.g. path that contains directory Program
Files should be specified as "C:\Program Files" -- in quotes).

We are currently running Oracle 7.3.4 on HP-UX 9000, 10.20. I have been
trying to assist someone with the task of setting up the JDBC Driver to
run on Win98. The first problem that occurred was when the
$ORACLE_HOME/bin directory was added to the PATH, we began getting a
"Too Many Parameters" error when the autoexec.bat executed. In addition,
after editing the PATH so that $ORACLE_HOME/bin could be included by
editing the PATH, we began testing the java drivers by executing on of
the sample program. The problem is, its not finding the driver. I tried
but the oci73jdbc.dll and oci805jdbc.dll, neither are being found.
Unfortunately, we do not have server-side drivers, as a matter of fact,
I can't find them. This is my first personal experience with working
with Oracle and JDBC, if anyone can guide me in the right direction, I
sure would appreciate it.
