We are requesting Local candidates only of the Tri-county area of South Florida. * Responsibilities: Responsible for architecture, security, data administration, backup and recovery, software maintenance and operation,resource management, tuning and troubleshooting and oracle applications. Monitor the instance using Oracle Enterprise Manager. Duties also include patches and must demonstrate an understanding of oracle applications system administration. * Requirements: -Solid Oracle DBA experience -Must demonstrate an understanding of PL/SQL functions, packages, procedures, etc. -Must demonstrate an understanding of the capablitities of underlying operating systems (HP/UX 11.0, NT 4.0) as they relate to the Oracle database. -Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. -U.S. citizenship or permanent resident also required.
