Hi Dave,
Pl change permission on the existing trace files that belong to the user.
Add _trace_files_public = true in the init.ora file and bounce the db to
make it effective. All future trace files will have public read access.
However, tkprof should already be public executable. They don't need
oracle's password to run it.
