You are trying to associate too big a variable (in a 3GL program
probably) to a SQL statement (a parameter which you are trying to pass).
Trying to guess : Musn't be an OCI program, I have already bound bigger
variables. The 32512 limit makes me think of the maximum size of a
VARCHAR2 in PL/SQL, but you couldn't declare a VARCHAR2(256000) without
generating an exception, unless you have a %TYPE variable, and that a
varchar column was dropped somewhere and recreated as a CLOB, thus
forcing a runtime error? Or in a Pro*C program, perhaps?
Do you know at least what type of program generates this error?
