This might be related to the contents of your login.sql or your glogin.sql
(if they exist).
Try starting up SQL Plus by "plus80w -s" from the command line (without the
quotes) and see if you still get the Dr Watson error.
Look in the Dr Watson error log (possibly at \winnt\drwatson.log) to get
further information on what is causing the error.

a few things come to mind.....
make sure u have the latest patch set (SP6?) for ur server..
you could also try installing and connecting from plus33.exe ..
