I'm no fan of Designer, but here's how:
Start Designer 6i
Log into your Repository database and select (or create) your workarea.
Click on "Design Editor"
Choose "Server Model"
Select a "container"
Choose the "Run the Design Capture utility"
Give Designer the username, password, and connect string for an account
with DBA privileges on the database that you want to capture.
Designer will run for about 4 hours and then freeze your workstation if you
have any appreciable number of objects in your database.
