We don't have CICS, but we have IMS on the mainframe and we have BMC's ChangeDataMove to capture changes in IMS and move the changes on to UNIX Oracle data base. We also have IMS online transactions communicating with Unix Oracle data bases thru Neon's Shadow Web Server which runs on the mainframe. We have requirements for applications which need to access/update data in our newer Oracle based systems and the legacy systems at the same time. We are looking at products like IBM's WebSphere , 9iAS, WebLogic, etc. If anyone has had to this I would be grateful for any war stories, tips, information that you might have to pass on.
