We are closing some cursors thru PLSQL scripts and thru JDBC as well. Every time we run one script the cursors are not getting closed . Instead they are shown as inactive in v$open_cursors table . Next time you run the same transction in the same session it makes those cursors as active but adds more rows into the open cursors table. So if execute the same script 10times in a row I am exceeding the max limit of open cursors and eventually get a message :java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded . Any idea how to over come this issue..
