Joe,

    I learned most of what I've done on RMAN from the Oracle manuals.  Now on
the brighter side, I've been passed draft review copy of a "pocket" guide for
RMAN being written by Jonathan Gerrick for O'Reilly.  I believe Jonathan is a
part of the list.  I gave the guide a rather cursory look over, while sipping
the morning coffee Saturday, & it looks pretty good.  If you can hold off a few
more months (He wants comments back by Aug 6th) you may have an easier time.

Well looks like i've held off learning RMAN long enough, any pointers, good
