Probably that they are doing the training from somebody's back yard on PC's
that run on a generator powered by 1000 hamsters running on spinning wheel
transformers. Lunch is "self-service" at your local McDonalds. :)

In short they are really telling you that they are suckering $250 out of
you - and not having to pay a thing out? Nice of them.. :)

Chris,

Come-on! Never heard the phrase "There's a sucker born every minute - and
two to take'em"?
The good news is that it "only" costs $250. You get what you pay for.

PS. "they have no overheads" - what does THAT mean?

I would be curious how one can obtain to be "amoung the best" after a single
7.5 hour course which I assume has an 1 hour lunch when most training does
similar in about 80-180 hours.

There is some smart people in this world, and I found out I am not one of
them, but trying to tackle this list of objectives I just can't see possible
in 6.5 hours.

Oracle databases. Students will learn database administration skills by
designing, setting up, configuring, and managing their own Oracle8i server.
By the end of the class, each student will have gone through the main tasks
necessary to manage Oracle8i databases. New Oracle8i features such as the
Oracle8i JVM, locally-managed tablespaces, partitioned tables, global and
local indexes, index-organized tables, function-based indexes,
object-relational features, the large pool and the Java pool will be
covered.

Audience: Database administrators, application developers, and system
administrators.
Prerequisites: Oracle for Application Developers. Previous working
experience with Oracle is recommended. A solid understanding of SQL and
