Hello all, I need to select 100 chars. at a time of a field which is say 1000 chars. long. if i do select substr(field, 1,100), substr(field, 101,200) ... it doe snot work, it select the frist 100 chars. all right, but the next 100 characters are not exact, it takes a few chars from the first 100, and some from the last 100 (the 300th one).
