This query will tell you if your current session is using a rollback
segment:
SELECT s.sid
, rn.name
FROM sys.v_$session s
, sys.v_$transaction t
, sys.v_$rollname rn
, (SELECT distinct sid
FROM sys.v_$mystat) m
WHERE t.addr = s.taddr
AND rn.usn = t.xidusn
AND s.sid = m.sid;
