We have two temp tablespaces on our data warehouse. One is used for general
reporting, the other for batch processes and reports for the CEO (guess
which is larger).
We set this up after a few users running several simultaneous reports caused
some batch processes to crash because they ran out of temp space.

Don't see the benefit to having seperate tablespaces for every user though.

Hi all,

Someone suggested to me to have seperate temp tablespaces for each user.

I don't see any advantage of doing that?
So I want to pick everyone's brain on this list.
What's your thoughts on that?
