Tamas - Have you checked out the "User Type Locks Chart" in OEM? I think
that it displays the information you desire. If not, you might look at the
scripts catblock.sql and utllockt.sql in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin. I haven't
used them, but have seen them mentioned. If you want a script for your users
to run, you may end up writing a script based on what you see in these
scripts. They probably just go after information in the V$ tables.

Hi,

I am facing a locking problem with Forms 6i and Oracle 8iR3 that did not
occure with Oracle 8iR2. 

To pinpoint the problem, I would need to identify the locking user AND the
specific record that causes the problem. Does some of you possibly have a
script that I can let our customer run when this deadlock situation occures?
