Thank you, you answered my question.  I meant that it seem like other NTers
use different methods to delete and recreate a db and I thought that the
oradim utility was used  for that purpose.  I need to read up more on the
utility I guess.

Oh and I keep forgetting that there are a few of you using unix. :)
