You should still be able to go to the file menu bar and pick cancel from the
menu.  Sometimes it takes a second when you click file to respond, but the
drop down does have a cancel action.

we just migrate our ORACLE client on PC side from version 7.3 to 8i.  some
programmers complain on 7.3 Sql/Plus when they run SQL statement, a small
window box will pop up and they can "cancel" the long running job.  This
feature does NOT show up on 8i Sql/Plus.  I checked "option" on sql/plus
and can NOT found anything relate to it.  Does anyone know how to put it
back?
