Thanks to everyone for their quick responses, putting spatial in double quotes does the job.
-----Original Message----- Sent: February 20, 2002 12:19 PM To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L I am unable to drop a tablespace that I created. I created the tablespace with a lower case name, when I do a select * from dba_tablespaces the name is lowercase as opposed to uppercase. When I "drop tablespace spatial" oracle gives the following error message : ORA-00959: tablespace 'SPATIAL' does not exist This is oracle 8.1.7.2.?
