Java surely allows you to close the statement, ask your developers to do that. I told mine, and they are happy with it. It seems like java code is opening the cursor , running some sql but not closing the cusrsor. Now the number of open_cursor reached 3568 . Is there any way we can close cursor from sqlplus.
