Sure, undo_tablespace is another!!! Actually, there are quite a few new init.ora parameters in 9i besides the ones you mentioned. We are still testing 9i and have not encountered any problems.
There is a patch (9.0.1.2) that fixes a nasty bug related to Auto Undo Mgmt. I recommend applying it before considering the auto undo mgmt feature (even for testing). Since there is so much new stuff in 9i, I suggest a thorough reading of the 9i manuals.
