I've read that Oracle does not advise (or may be support) to have a standby database on a plataform different to the original one.
I have a database on Solaris and I'd like to create a standby for this db over HP. Can that be done? I KNOW IT'S NOT SUPPORTED. All I want to know is if anyone has tested it.
