Because, in short, you still use Net8 or SQLNet or what ever they call it now. Sure the protocol adapter is different but every thing else is the same. I have seen big improvements by changing SDU/TDU with pipes on Net8. Beaware that most pipe have a max TDU limit of 5K (HP is 8K). Anjo.
