Why is that my questions hardly get any replies? Is it that I don't give sufficient details? Or is that because my questions are too simple for most of you experts?
Or is it simply because of the time difference(Because I post my questions during Indian working hours)? Whatever the reason, I do my bit(read RTFM) before putting any questions and I come up with questions which are either related to experience, or where too less information is available. -----Original Message----- Sent: Friday, August 09, 2002 12:38 PM To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L Hi All Gurus, I need some guidelines in Migrating an Oracle version 7(Dont have the exact version right now) database to 9i. There are few tables which store Chinese Characters. And it also requires converting Big5 internal code (some are HK characters set) into Unicode ISO10646:1-2000. Please advise on any complications which may arise and any other considerations which might come from your experience. Please pour in any suggestions you might have for me.
