We have several developers using java stored
procedures.  No real 'gotchas' other than making sure
all of the java versions are correct.  Java is
essentially dumbed down C++.  Why folks want to go to
the extra steps coding baffles me since PL/SQL is much
more powerful inside the database.  But, there is a
lot to be said for portability.  Especially, when the
final envirnoment is yet to be determined.
