Todd - Haven't used fine grained access control yet, but out of curiosity,
how would this work with Weblogic connection pooling? Are you assigning each
user an Oracle username? Does that mean you are using a dedicated connection
and no pooling?

Hey Guys,

I used FGAC for a small application a year ago without problems/issues. I
have reread the docs and now I would like to know the experiences of those
using FGAC for larger systems.

I am now working on an OLTP system that will have tables in the 4+ million
range with 100+ concurrent users. It is 8.1.7.4 on HPUX 11 with WebLogic 7.
Are there any performance issues with using FGAC in this configuration and
with this amount of data? Is there anything I should avoid other than the
obvious?

Thanks,

Todd Carlson
