Is it possible to have two different databases on the same server using two different kinds of character sets (one would be UTF8 NCHAR and the other would be US7ASCII)? How do you create the databases with two different character sets (is it an init parameter)? If that is not possible and Oracle binaries were installed with US7ASCII, how can you convert it to UTF8 without having to reinstall everything? This is Oracle 8.1.7.3 on Solaris. -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com -- Author: Eric Richmon INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
