John, Why would you *not* want to use the package provided by Oracle?
The answer to your question is to: 1). create a new USERS tablespace 2). issue ALTER TABLE table_name MOVE new_tablespace commands 3). issue ALTER INDEX index_name REBUILD commands. 4). issue ALTER USER username DEFAULT TABLESPACE new_tablespace; 5). drop the old tablespace. hope this helps.
