Has anyone seen or does anyone have any whitepapers on converting to OiD (Oracle Internet Directory) solely for name resolution (i.e. to replace tnsnames.ora)?
I am most interested in something that would discuss the various thoughts that need to go into designing an LDAP tree and what the advantages and disadvantages of each are. If anyone has gone through this and would be willing to discuss it with me sometime, please send me contact information off-list.
