Hello All, I have a requirement to update a table which is hash partitioned and having a local prefixed index with keys (STORE, SKU, ACTION_DATE, TRAN_TYPE) . I have to update only one column called 'WH' to a new value where store=store#, wh= 0 and tran_type = -1. Explain plan shows me FULL TABLE access. Sample query would be like this
Update < table_name > set wh=-1 where store=<store_no> and wh=<old_value> and tran_type=<value> Any suggestions to have better performance ??
