I can't see why not, with a few caveats.
First, AS is effectively redhat 7.2 with a different kernel and a couple of
other (minor) package tweaks. This suggests that you'll want to work with
either 7.2 or 7.3. RH 8.0 started building stuff with gcc32 as opposed to 2.96,
which may make things a little different -- OTOH oracle9202 runs fine on my RH8
box.
The toughie will be OCFS. I've a feeling that it may be hard to get to work w/o
the AS kernel. But, if you run raw, you should have no problems.
Are you building with fibre channel or firewire for your testing?
