No can do in UTL_FILE unless NFS mounted directory etc. You could use the
TEXT_IO package in forms (client/server only - until webutil arrives), or
client side Java etc.

Hi folks,

how can I tell a PLSQL script not to store it's
UTL_FILE.Put_Line(fHandle,'TEXT') output to the
filesystem of the server, but on the client ?

Whenever I run this locally it's ok. But if the DB is on a network server,
it's filesystem
is used.

I am using NT/SP6/Oracle 8x. Is this possible ???

TNX
