The source code for dba_objects has a comment in the where clause describing type# 10 
as 'non-existent'.
I've seen objects with that type# be created when you drop a synonym.
e.g.
SQL> create synonym x for y ;
Synonyme créé.

SQL> drop synonym x ;
Synonyme supprimé.

SQL> select name, type# from sys.obj$
  2  where owner# = sys_context ('userenv', 'current_schemaid')
  3  and name = 'X' ;
NAME                               TYPE#
------------------------------ ---------
X                                     10
