Michell, A sequence is created and select privileges granted to users or roles. The users or roles use the sequence in the applications to insert/update the data in the tables. Check the privileges granted to the users/roles and then get the info from the developers as to which tables use the sequence. A daunting task is in your future if you do not have your database documented. Good luck, Ron
