Ryan, Read the OCI manual, you have many things in it about multithreading, including a set of functions for creating threads, mutexes to synchronize them, etc. - OCI wrappers assumed to be more 'portable' - in truth I find the Posix pthread library to be as portable and simpler to use ... I think that you also have some sample code in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/demo, although I have never found the sample OCI code to be really useful to understand the finest points. -- Regards, Stephane Faroult Oriole Software -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.net -- Author: Stephane Faroult INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- 858-538-5051 http://www.fatcity.com San Diego, California -- Mailing list and web hosting services --------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
