Maybe copying isn't an option, but if on NIX how about putting a symbolic link in or tnsnames in the /etc (checked before $ORACLE_HOME/network) directory and not set TNS_ADMIN

Even when I set the oracle home from which to run lsnrctl it tries to use the listener.ora from the TNS_ADMIN home. How can I make sure to explicitly start the correct listener.ora?
