I think we can use dbms_space_admin package to get the accurate size of the
table...not the allocated (querying the data dictionary will report the
allocated space...)

Then the easy answer is:

select sum(nvl(vsize(<column_1>),1)+nvl(vsize(<column_2>),1)+......
)/1073741824
from <table_name>;
