Mason, OH.*** * * *Rate: $ 40/hr* * * * * *Manager Update:** I just spoke with this manager this morning. Here is what he really needs. He needs someone with midrange experience. Could have ANY combination of the skills in the description. They do not need to have everything. He prefers someone who might has either a systems administrator/engineer background with AIX, EMC, Blades and any database. Ideally this person would have some business skills and knowledge of BPM. This is not a hands on position. This person will assist this person in coordinating and organizing activities for their "hands On" engineer. They would be assisting to relieving much of the mundane tasks that sometimes fall on the engineers plate. The candidate needs to have good organization, business and communication skills. Locations they can be in are: 1. N. Haven, CT 2. Richmond, VA 3. Thousand Oaks, CA 4. Mason, OH. ** Need an Infrastructure Engineering Contractor resource for six months** 5-8 Yrs experience with a wide variety of enterprise-level Midrange, Storage, Server, Database and Mainframe support/design experience. *Problem Solving, analysis, research, and testing functions for systems and networks *Recommends and performs system and network upgrades *Manages relationships (business, IT, vendors) *Plans and implements system and network configurations to meet business requirements *Provides capacity planning and preventative maintenance for Infrastructure services *Serves as the technical escalation for operations issues and requirements for engineering review of production networks or systems *Utilizes business requirements, architectural strategies, and support requirements to design highly available networks or systems *Develops, recommends, and oversees support standards *Designs technical solutions to integrate technologies *Participates in projects as subject matter expert for Infrastructure technologies*** *SKILLS:* *HP Servers/Blades, Microsoft SQL Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, AIX 5.2, AIX 6.1, EMC, IIBM DB2, IBM Mainframe MVS Operating System, Sybase, Oracle Database*** -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
