We are currently recruiting for an experienced *Business Analyst with strong NASCO system* background for a state system implementation. This is contract position is forecasted to run through 2009 and needs to be able to start quickly in a telecommuting role. This position must be flexible to travel to *both New Jersey and Atlanta as needed.* The Business Analyst role has accountability for delivery of assigned systems projects whose scope typically results in project duration of less than one year and impacts one or a limited number of sub-components within the *NASCO Processing System or other NASCO Products and Services. ** * May assist more experienced project managers to deliver system projects of a highly complex nature. Responsibilities include assembly and tracking of plans, schedules and resources to ensure timely completion of project timelines. Analyzes user needs and translates them into proper business system requirement specifications. Defines, designs and performs user acceptance testing on behalf of Plan customers. Able to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment. Communicates with Senior Product Solutions Manager regarding status of assigned projects. Responsibilities: · Collects and documents business and vendor requirements from stakeholders, user groups and vendors * Documents current and proposed business process flows using established project management methodology * Develops risk assessment management plans based on business and vendor requirements using established project management methodology. * Assists with maintaining project management documentation for assigned projects * Establishes and reviews unit and user test plans and schedules to ensure complete and accurate results are achieved.
