*Duration: 6 Months* *Location: Farmington Hills, MI,* *Please sent the profiles only to ckud...@igridtech.com* ** *Description: * The Web Administrator position is solely responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing production support of the web infrastructure. The web administrator serves as the main contact for all web servers and Cold Fusion application servers and Apache Tomcat servers. This individual is responsible for, among other duties, application server load balancing, website monitoring (employing existing tools) and maintaining 24/7 uptime for all enterprise web applications. Position requires expert knowledge of, but is not limited to, Java, SSL, load balancing concepts and application, application / JVM tuning, TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, firewall maintenance and multi-tiered architectures. *Specific Responsibilities: * - Work with other team members on future installations, configurations, and upgrades to the software on UNIX/LINUX servers. - Recommend future web technologies to be implemented at Client place. - Determine root cause of outages and provide recommendations for long-term remedies. - Participate in a 24x7 on-call pager rotation for support of new and existing web applications. - Deploy application updates to pre-production and production environments. - Provide fast, reliable, and consistent responses for daily requests from systems development group on developing new projects or changes to existing projects. - Provide technical direction for Internet infrastructure roadmap. - Manage/maintain hardware/software environment, including hardware/software licenses, support, and maintenance agreements - Resolves complex issues relating to hardware and operating systems - Work closely with web developers and other IT administrators (Database, Unix, and Network Teams) to architect scalable, reliable, high performance/high availability web systems; troubleshoot and resolve related issues *Web Group Responsibilities:* Responsible for performing tasks directly related to the support of our Webservers, Web-related operating systems, Web-related software applications and end-user problem resolution. - Manage and maintain the development, test, and production infrastructure. - Coordinate the setup and deployment of all new Websites. This includes domain name acquisition, setup, and source control. - Research and recommend new technologies, software and hardware to help roadmap the Web environment. - Work closely with development groups to recommend and implement best of breed solutions for specific client requirements. *Manage and implement software configuration and installations. These include:* - Operating Systems - Red Hat Enterprise , Solaris 7.0-10, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server - Application Servers - ColdFusion, Adobe Flex, LDAP, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat - Exposure to Netscape Enterprise Server - Source Control - Subversion, Interwoven Teamsite - Network monitoring tools and metric reporting systems - Oracle setup/installation and client-side programming - Manage and coordinate seamless software upgrades in a 24/7 enterprise environment - Responsible for Sun java updates and configuration management (i.e. memory management) - Manage and create all new Website deployment scripts using ANT script. - Research, setup and manage load-balancing environment for web application servers (i.e. Big IP and Cisco). - Monitor Web usage statistics and traffic logs for all Websites to identify and detect bottlenecks and support planning activities. - Setup testing tools and performs load stress tests before and after network changes to quickly identify potential problems and bottlenecks. - Manage the annual installation of all required SSL certificates. - Responsible to coordinate the annual renewal of software maintenance agreements. - Perform daily production support working with the Service Desk to resolve problems via the HEAT ticketing system to maintain 24/7 uptime for all Web applications. - Provide 24x7 on-call production support for the hardware and software within the Web environment - Coordinate manual code rolls when required (daily) from the development groups. - Work closely with the DBA, Unix, Network, and DataCom groups to resolve technical issues related to the Web environment. - Work directly with development and management groups at Farmington Hills . *Education / Knowledge: * - Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year college or university required. - An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.. *Experience / Skill: * - 5 + years Web Administration experience in a Unix/Linux environment required. - Proven problem solving and analytical competencies. - Must have strong Customer Service disciplines and excellent communication skills. - In order to support and maintain 24x7 uptime for Enterprise web applications. - Must be a team player and comfortable in a large support role. *Additional Technical Skills Desired: * - ColdFusion 8+ - Tomcat 4.0, 5.0 - Apache 2.0 - Red Hat Enterprise - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server - IIS 6.0 - Adobe Flex - SSL - Solaris 7.0 - 10.0 - Red Hat Workstation - LDAP - Subversion - Interwoven Teamsite 6.0 Version Control Tool - Fundamental understanding of: Java, SSL - Application load balancing experience, application / JVM tuning, TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, firewalls and multi-tiered architectures. - Disaster Recovery plan implementation and execution experience - Knowledge of ColdFusion/Java programming and UNIX shell scripting. - Network monitoring tools and metric reporting systems - Oracle setup/installation and client-side programming *Note: Must interview in-person* *If you are interested in this position please respond me with a word formatted résumé, rate and Contact details* Thanks & Regards *Chandra Kudiri* Main: (734) 437-5500 Ext:888 Direct: (734) 862-1950 Fax: (734) 437-5508 ckud...@igridtech.com *iGrid Technologies, Inc.* *Listen, Think and Deliver...* www.igridtechnologies.com Y IM : *chandu_staffing* ** Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
