The candidate will be responsible for all phases of the development cycle in order to implementing key components. This includes design and development of the component, development of test scripts and test drivers, development of control and deployment scripts, and participating in test cycles. Key Deliverables (i.e. Outcome) Peoplesoft Code: KO * Develop interfaces to internal and external systems for the processing and booking of securitized derivative products. * Develop new components to automate processing of payouts from securitized derivative products. * Develop new web services to interface with external booking systems. * Development of automated test drivers and test scripts. * Creation of technical documentation for first line support. Peoplesoft Code: S/Q . 5+ years post collegiate work experience . 3+ years experience in financial industry . 5 +yrs Java/J2EE/EJB . 5+ years Web services/web logic . Strong object oriented design . Knowledge of J2EE JMS using Tibco EMS. . Knowledge of XML and XML parsing tools such as XMLBeans. . General knowledge of relationship database such as Sybase . Strong communication skills . Ability to work as part of a global, cross-cultural team Divisional Overview and/or Departmental Overview/ Relative Links Peoplesoft Code: DO GFX IT is responsible for development and support of front office technology for the global foreign exchange desk. The group develops options trading and risk management systems, e-commerce dealing systems, and a full range of feeds that connect front and back office systems. The group also supports vendor applications for cash trading and order management. GFX IT is a global development team that works cooperatively across 5 sites on 3 continents. The department is currently engaged in a number of projects to expand its capabilities in the areas of options, e-commerce and cash products. It is also engaged in initiatives to consolidate the trading desks of its investment and private banks. We seek a developer who will participate in key initiatives in options processing and options e-commerce.
