WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:


Experience/Background


.         7+ years in developing software solutions

.         2+ years with Promerit application (DESIRED, but not required)

.         5+ years with ASP.Net and SQLServer and/or Sybase

.         3+ years in C# / C++

.         Ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting
skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

.         Genuine enjoyment of software development/support tasks.

 

 


Required Skills:

.    

.   Working experience with Promerit application and as well as Mortgage
Loan processing (DESIRED, but not required)

.   C++/C# and ASP.Net  programming experience 

.   Writing  SQLs/ stored procedures in SQLServer/Sybase

.   Has experience of the software development lifecycle.

.   Has a continued desire to work across multiple projects whenever there
is a requirement.

.   Excellent communicating skills and experience supporting end users with
their day-to-days issues.

.   Ability to coordinate cohesively with the  development/support/business
analysis team

.   Willingness and enthusiasm to perform in this specific role that is a
combination of developer and support specialist.

 


 

Desired Skills:

.   Financial or Banking support environment experience would be beneficial.

.   Knowledge of the investment banking or banking sector support
environment would be beneficial.  


.   Knowledge of Mortgage Backed Securities would be added advantage.

 

 

 

Functional Responsibilities:

 

Specific tasks include but are not limited to:

*       Supporting Promerit application
*       Design, develop and implement interfacing modules with Promerit
*       Contribute whenever possible to the development tasks associated
with other applications with in the product line.
*       Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered in
Production.
*       Understand the bank's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
methodology.  Understand how Support tasks fits with the SDLC process.
*       Work with other members of the DEV/QA/Support team to improve our
processes, tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency.
*       Familiarize with the applications, tools, feeds, databases, and
batch files etc that are being supported.

Comply with knowledge base management processes.  Ensure that the knowledge
base is maintained with high standard.
