Role:

Anoka County is seeking a Temporary Full-Time .Net Developer to assist with
various development initiatives.  Responsibilities include the design,
modification, and development of software programming applications and
components. Supports and/or installs software applications and components.
Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform
the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.


Primary Responsibilities:

·         Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions
including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, SQL
Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#

·         Create and deliver data-driven reports using SSRS

·         Design, code and test new Windows and Web applications

·         Update and migration of existing applications to current .NET
version and design standards

·         Lead Requirements Analysis sessions with Business Units

·         Create technical specifications and test plans

·         Create new and extend existing operational documentation

·         Consult closely with management and agency staff related to
projects and tasks

·         Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of
software systems


Skill Requirements:

Successful candidates will likely have at least 5 years of experience in a
professional capacity and 2- or 4-year degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems or related field.

·         ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>

·         WinForm and Web Development using C#

·         SQL

·         SSRS (SQL Reporting Services)

·         HTML

·         CSS

·         JavaScript

·         Familiarity with Mobile Development standards helpful
