 *Position:*

·         The MS Exchange Administrator supports all technical operations
of our staff by installing, operating, and maintaining servers and server
applications.

·    The Exchange Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and
supporting numerous mission critical Exchange Windows servers and their
corresponding Exchange applications/services.

·       The Exchange Admin will also be responsible for administering and
maintaining Exchange Server infrastructure, with emphasis on installing and
maintaining Microsoft Exchange applications and server software.

·     Candidate should also have intimate knowledge of Google Apps. Areas
of responsibility include Three Tier Application Support (CAS, Hub
transport, Mailbox Layers), Windows security (security, antivirus and
compliance patching), MS Exchange email administration(with an emphasis on
integration with Google Apps.)

·         The candidate should have also have strong Active Directory
knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Also supports LAN, WAN, and all
associated connections.

·         Customer service and communication skills are required, as well
as the ability to work closely with teammates and business partners.

·         Excellent written and oral communication and ability to build
strong partnerships with internal and external customers are required.

*Education and Experience:*

·         Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

·         6+years experience in Microsoft Windows and Exchange
infrastructure related environments.

·         6+ years supporting MS Active Directory at the enterprise level.

·         Experience with Installation/Upgrade/Patching Exchange 2010
servers and other Exchange applications.

·         Experience supporting global Exchange 2010 server environments

·         Experience with third party email applications such as RightFax,
Postini and others.

·         Experience with Google email support at an enterprise level.

·         Experience with Exchange/Google Integration Services

·         Working knowledge Google email migrations.

·         Working knowledge of MS Active Directory and schemas.

·         Experience with testing and implementing systems and application
related patches.

·         Experience with installing, upgrading and configuring system and
application related services.

·         Experience in Exchange Infrastructure  analysis, design, project
planning, and estimation

·         Experience with SDLC and project Methodology



*Accountabilities:*

·         Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for
technical support.

·         Resolve server and system support issues over the phone and in
person.

·         Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely
resolution.

·         Troubleshoot Exchange services/system issues with both client and
server systems.

·         Knowledge of Exchange 2010 three tier architecture and
infrastructure

·         Support the integration of Google Apps in an enterprise
environment.

·         Troubleshoot system issues related to configuration and
application errors.

·         Maintain/Monitor SLA’s, including Root Cause Analysis for
impacting problems

·         Provides support to end users on a variety of client and server
issues.

·         Manage service issues with Microsoft Technical support.

·         Perform application tuning for servers and applications.

·         Participate in on-call rotation support for customer impacting
issues that occur on evenings and weekends.

·         Provide liaison support for IT network administration, network
infrastructure, DBA’s and other members of the IT support environment.

·         Provide support and technical assistance to I.T. team members in
Europe and Hong Kong regarding global technology standards and
infrastructure architecture.

·         Provide excellent customer service.

·         Resolves service tickets and escalates when appropriate.

·         Resolves open service tickets in a timely manner.

·         Foster global teamwork and collaboration with I.T. Teams in US,
Europe and Asia regarding current projects and hot issues

*Special Skills:*

·         Experience installing and administering Exchange software
products.

·         Google Apps support.

·         Experience with managing and resolving a variety of
Exchange/Windows production support issues.

·         Deep experience with Windows Server 2008 and excellent trouble
shooting skills.

·         Requires 7x24x365 on-call availability for possible escalation of
business critical issues.

·         Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment.

·         Knowledge of Computer Associates helpdesk software

·         Ensure compliance with established IT regulations such as SOX,
HIPPA and PCI

·         Excellent organizational skills

*Job Competencies:*

·         Good working knowledge of Servers in both physical and virtual
environments.

·         Good working knowledge of retail related applications.

·         Become proficient with Exchange administration tasks

·         Troubleshoot and solve problems when users have issues with
Exchange infrastructure or system related issues.

·         Write and update knowledgebase articles pertaining to Exchange

·         Conduct Exchange training for local IT staff and Service Center
staff

·         Participate in projects related to the introduction of Exchange
services
