You own the big data platform roadmap, define associated requirements, drive make/buy decisions, and work with a top notch development team to create and manage the product backlog and deliver world-class software-as-a service software. You are a software industry Product management veteran. You have a proven track record driving innovative software-as-a service solutions. You have successfully delivered enterprise software solutions involving multiple components and stakeholders. You think ¡§big picture¡¨, but know the details cold. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to Senior Director, Product Management REALAnalytics Own the Big Data platform components of our REALAnalytics product roadmap ¡V prioritizing capabilities based on strategic value, customer demand, and market evidence. Define our Big Data platform capabilities including data ingestion (batch and streaming), transformation, cleaning, storage and privacy, working cross-functionally and with senior product management, user experience (UX), and product engineering teams. Clearly define requirements that solve real world problems and engage & delight users, while staying focused on minimum valuable product (MVP) tenets. Work directly with our engineering teams and represent the voice of customer throughout the development process. Ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, usability, and measurement. Support business development team efforts with key customers, prospects, and partners Evangelize your product offerings and be the subject matter expert for internal audiences. Your Experience and Know-How: *Big Data platform experience required including ETL and data streaming. On premise and Cloud to Cloud data integration experience preferred. Experience with Big Data technology such as **Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, Pentaho**. Direct experience working with Agile product development teams and SaaS application environment*s. Committed to operational excellence, with a high degree of customer orientation. Proven contributor, focused team player and consensus builder. Detail oriented and rigorous. Ability to work in a fast paced exciting environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adeptly demonstrate products. Requires 5+ years of experience in product management function. A Bachelors degree in Software Engineering from accredited school, Masters Degree preferred. Key Results Areas: Define and lead the delivery of our Big Data Platform component or REALAnalytics; drive development of REALAnalytics¡¦ most desirable product features.
