Project description - Business Analyst – Quality/Document Management System



Lead the business requirements definition, testing and production
implementation for small projects/enhancements supporting our Safety and
Quality business area.  Several small projects are planned and the business
analyst involvement is outlined below.

1.      Development of requirements and subsequent system implementation
for an offline form and associated workflow within the QMS system

2.      Development of requirements and subsequent system implementation
for multiple enhancements to the document management system within the QMS
system

3.Perform testing and associated business analyst tasks for a version
upgrade.

Mandatory Skills-

·         Documented experience completing process and systems improvement
projects

       ·         5-8 years of experience as a business analyst

       ·         Documented experience working defining and creating
requirements

       ·         Documented experience leading design sessions and working
with different levels of stakeholders

       ·         Knowledge of quality management or document management
business processes and applications

     Desirable Skills-

·         Knowledge of quality management or document management  business
processes and applications

·         Understand a process and systems approach to problem solving.

·         Ability to work independently including:

o   Interacting with the end-user to clarify and confirm requirements

o   Documenting requirements in a manner that can be understood by the end
user (for sign-off) and the developer (for coding)

o   Working with end-users to explain new functionality, and obtain user
sign-off.

·         Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing,
including the ability to convey technical information to technical and
non-technical users.

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

·         Ability to skillfully evaluate process effectiveness and develop
change or alternatives.

·         Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work
assignments simultaneously.

·         Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team.

·         Working Knowledge of: Project Delivery, Project Risk Mgmt,
Project Communication, Decision Making, Software Development Lifecycle
