Duration: 6+ months Rate: Market (Keep it low) Skill Requirement : In depth technical knowledge supporting webMethods, to include *version 9.x*, running on Linux Experience Level Required: 4+ years experience working on the relevant skill sets. Number of Consultants Required: One Environment: Unix Price Structure: Type of Assignment: Infrastructure Administrator, Software AG - webMethods to work with different development teams to expose data and information necessary to properly monitor Grainger applications. Location: Chicago, IL Start Date – ASAP End Date – 6 months out Hours: 8-5 standard hours with non-standard shifts and weekends as required for deployments and maintenance. Requesting Manager: *1.b: Project or Assignment Overview* *Serve as Software AG - webMethods administrator supporting multiple projects*. Harden the Software AG’s webMethods to a state of production readiness. Aid Grainger platform teams with automation of webMethods maintenance tasks. Provide ongoing support including daily requests, production support, and on-call rotation. *1.c: Requirements* 1. Upgrading webMethods. 2. LDAP Integration. 3. Security Best Practices. 4. Central User Management and Roles. 5. Understanding of Universal Messaging. 6. Performance Tuning. Other Requirements Plusses would be – Experience with CrossVista, Knowledge of CentraSite, Background in Oracle DB, Recent Universal Messaging Training, Understanding of Command Central Scripting.
